Singapore Indie Bookshop Day

Singapore’s inaugural Indie Bookshop Day is on Saturday, 3 October 2026. It is a day to celebrate the diverse indie bookshops that anchor the local reading community. Everyone is invited to show up for bookshops and to remind themselves of the joys of browsing, lingering, and discovering in spaces booksellers have dedicated to the power and beauty of the written word.

Singapore Independent Bookshop Day 2026 is supported by the National Arts Council and international publisher Hachette.
