Dakota Dreams
Dakota Dreams is a pre-loved bookstore tucked within the Old Airport Road Food Centre, founded by a group of retirees to nurture community and sustainability. Selling donated books for S$1–S$10, it blends literary passion with social purpose, offering titles from literary fiction, non-fiction, Singapore writers, children’s stories to business guides. Beyond books, it hosts creative pop-ups, book launches, and art workshops, fostering a kampong-style camaraderie among neighbours. We measure success in smiles rather than profit and aim to make Dakota Dreams a heartwarming hub where stories, friendship, and recycled reads intertwine.
