Celebrate Children’s Day and Singapore Independent Bookshop Day with three lively Chinese storytelling adventures at Maha Yu Yi!

Created for children aged 4–8, the programme invites young listeners to meet a king who is feeling down, discover the owners of some unusual bicycles, and follow a hungry wolf into a town full of surprises.

Story schedule:

2:00–2:30 PM — 《胖国王》

3:00–3:30 PM — 《谁的自行车》

4:00–4:30 PM — 《好饿的老狼和猪的小镇》

Children may join one story or complete all three sessions in the Chinese Storytelling Marathon. Through stories, laughter and imagination, they can discover how much fun the Chinese language can be while enjoying meaningful bonding time with a parent or grandparent.
