A small corner at the counter dubbed the "Customs Office". Visitors bring in their family heirlooms or thrifted finds. As the proprietor of Hungry Traveller, I will provide a "Verbal Passport"—a quick assessment of the book’s origin, age, and physical condition. For every book appraised, I will give the owner a Hungry Traveller "Preservation Kit", which includes information on how to care for your old books, silica for storage, special acid free paper for bookplates along with one of our special bookmarks.
